RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO PATE BROTHERS
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR RELOCATION OF
UTILITIES ON MPEC SOUTH SIDE
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the construction of water and sewer line relocations on the
south side of the Multi-Purpose Events Center, which bids were to
be made on a unit price basis;
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is
Pate Brothers Construction Company, who bid unit prices with an
estimated total of $249, 315 . 29;
WHEREAS, the Pate Brothers Construction Company bid
contained an irregularity as an electrostatic copy of the
original proposal was not submitted with the original; and,
WHEREAS, the above irregularity is waived.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such unit price bid of Pate Brothers Construction Company
with an estimated total of $249, 315 . 29 is hereby accepted and the
City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City
with said contractor for the construction of such project .
