RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE MPEC FORCE MAIN
RELOCATION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO POTEET, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Poteet, Inc. with the estimated total cost of
15, 100 . 00;
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
14, 760 . 00 of which $14, 100 . 00 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $660 . 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The MPEC Force Main Relocation Project is hereby accepted
and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
