RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR GRAZING LEASE AT
LAKE KICKAPOO TO LESLIE P. WACHSMAN FOR THE
SOUTHSIDE LEASE
WHEREAS, the City has certain properties surrounding Lake
Kickapoo which historically have been leased to the highest
bidder for grazing purposes;
WHEREAS, the current lease on the southside of Lake Kickapoo
will expire on April 30, 1994 ;
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for new leases on the
southside of Lake Kickapoo; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has determined the highest bidder for
the southside lease to be Leslie P. Wachsman.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Leslie P. Wachsman is hereby awarded the lease for the
southside of Lake Kickapoo, a total of 1, 424 . 39 acres at an
amount of $12 . 56 per acre/per year, an annual amount of
17, 890 . 34 . The City Manager is authorized to execute a lease
with Leslie P. Wachsman for purposes stated.
