RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR GRAZING LEASE AT
LAKE KICKAPOO TO HARDLY ABLE CATTLE COMPANY,
INC. FOR THE NORTHSIDE LEASE
WHEREAS, the City has certain properties surrounding Lake
Kickapoo which historically have been leased to the highest
bidder for grazing purposes;
WHEREAS, the current lease on the northside of Lake Kickapoo
will expire on April 30, 1994 ;
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for new leases on the
northside of Lake Kickapoo; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has determined the highest bidder for
the northside lease to be the Hardly Able Cattle Company, Inc .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Hardly Able Cattle Company, Inc . is hereby awarded the
lease for the northside of Lake Kickapoo, a total of 1, 332 . 23
acres at an amount of $10 . 69 per acre/per year, an annual amount
of $14, 241 . 54 . In addition, the City accepts the bid of the
Hardly Able Cattle Company, Inc . to install certain improvements
with an estimated value of $0 . 19 per acre/per year. The City
Manager is authorized to execute a lease with the Hardly Able
Cattle Company, Inc . for purposes stated.
