RESOLUTION AMENDING LICENSE WITH THE Y.M.C.A. FOR USE OF
PARK BALLFIELDS.
WHEREAS, the City has granted a license to the Wichita
Falls Y.M.C.A. to conduct a youth/parent baseball league on
ballfields in Kiwanis and Jaycee Parks; and,
WHEREAS, the Y.M.C.A. has requested authority to give
reservation of Kiwanis and Jaycee Park ballfields for
practice usage and to extend the season one week earlier to
accommodate a pre-league tournament; and,
WHEREAS, the use of Kiwanis Park field #4 use
requested; and,
WHEREAS, the requests will not create any extra
maintenance burden on the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The license granted the Y.M.C.A. for use of City
ballfields is hereby amended to grant authority to take
reservations of same fields for practice use. Reservation
rules shall be the same as those used by the Parks and
Recreation Department. Changes must be approved by the
City. The date of licensed usage is hereby amended to begin
on approximately April 20.Further, the inclusion of
Kiwanis Park field #4 is hereby made.
