RESOLUTION TO APPROVE RELOCATION OF GAS MAINS
TO FACILITATE NORTH DRAINAGE BASIN SANITARY
SEWER TRUNK MAIN, PHASE II, CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to proceed with a
project to construct a major sanitary sewer trunk line in the
North Drainage Basin;
WHEREAS, two existing gas pipelines belonging to Lone Star
Gas Company interfere with the construction of the project and
must be relocated; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has received a detailed formal cost
estimate from Lone Star Gas Company for the relocation of the gas
lines .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The relocation of the 8-inch and 18-inch gas lines as
proposed by Lone Star Gas Company is hereby approved at a not-to-
exceed cost of $68, 000 . 00 .
