RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS FOREST
SERVICE FOR A MATCH TREF GRANT .
WHEREAS , it is desirable to plant tres in City street
medians and right of ways; and ,
WHEREAS, the Texas Forest Service has announced the
invitation to apply for match grants for urban tree
planting; and,
WHEREAS , the City has sufficient funds and labor to
guarantee it 's match of the program .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to apply for a
matching grant of $10,000 . to the Texas Forest Service . The
City certifies to it 's match of funding of $10 ,000 . and in-
kind labor .
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of Fbruary 1994 .
