RESOLUTION TO APPROVE SEVENTH AMENDMENT TO
WATER PURCHASE CONTRACT WITH WINDTHORST WATER
SUPPLY CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and the Windthorst Water
Supply Corporation have a Water Purchase Contract dated August
16, 1979, with six approved amendments, said contract as amended
limiting the amount of water taken by Windthorst Water Supply
Corporation to 300, 000 gallons per day;
WHEREAS, the Windthorst Water Supply Corporation has
requested the City of Wichita Falls to increase the allocation of
water to 750, 000 gallons per day; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has considered this request and a
proposed Seventh Amendment to the Water Purchase Contract to
authorize such increase in water allocation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Seventh Amendment to the Water Purchase Contract between
the City of Wichita Falls and the Windthorst Water Supply
Corporation for the purpose of increasing the daily allocation of
water being taken by the Corporation to 750, 000 gallons per day
is hereby approved, and the City Manager is authorized to execute
the contract for the City of Wichita Falls .
