A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS CALLING FOR A REGULAR CITY ELECTION
ON MAY 7, 1994 ; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, Mayor Michael Lam has issued an order this
date, ordering an election to be held on May 7, 1994, for
electing the Mayor, Councilor for District 3, Councilor for
District 4, and Councilor for District 5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
Section 1. An election shall be held in the City on May
7, 1994, for the purpose of electing such City officers.
The polling places and election judges shall be named at a
later date.
Section 2. It is hereby officially found and determined
that the meeting at which this resolution was passed was
open to the public as required by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 15th day of February,
1994.
