RESOLUTION ENTERING INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF
WICHITA FALLS FOR OPERATING THE LUCY PARK NATURE WORKS .
WHEREAS , the City and Junior League of Wichita Falls are
jointly developing a nature center facility in Lucy Park; and
WHEREAS , it is believed a private board jointly appointed by
the City and Junior League can more easily and successfully raise
the additional revenue felt necessary to make the operation
solvent .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the
attached proposed agreement with the Junior League of Wichita
Falls; such agreement will create a board which will have the
power and authority for control of the operation of the Nature
Works facility in trade for full financial responsibility for its
management and maintenance .
