RESOLUTION AMENDING THE PARKS OPEN SPACE PLAN
WHEREAS , the city 's Pa.r.....k.s...a.........R c r....q.....t..i.a n......... ..nd........_()pe.n Space
E...I. ,m,Q.,n,t, was produced in 1983; and ,
WHEREAS , the passage of time has created a need to
amend the document to reflect current needs; and ,
WHEREAS , one evident need is the acquisition of
additional open space adjacent to Lucy Park to make the
proposed Nature Center operation more successful .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
The Park ........R c.c..r....e.a.t.....Qn...3.. and.......Open.......Space Element is hereby
amended to include the desire to acquire open space adjacent
to Lucy Park for betterment of the proposed Nature Center
operation .
