A RESOLUTION OF THE CI Y Q '........WL.( .iTa FBIA 5, TEXAS HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS
APPLICANT", DESIGNATING CERTAIN OFFFICIALS AS BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR, ACTING FOR, AND
ON BEHALF OF THE "APPLICANT" IN DEALING WITH THE TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE
DEPARTMENT, HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "DEPARTMENT", FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PARTICIPATING IN THE GRANT PROGRAMS; CERTIFYING THAT THE "APPLICANT" IS ELIGIBLE TO
RECEIVE ASSISTANCE UNDER SUCH PROGRAMS; AND DEDICATING THE PROPOSED SITE FOR OUTDOOR
RECREATION USES.
WHEREAS, the United States Congress has passed the Land & Water Conservation Fund
Act of 1965 (Public Law 88-578) for outdoor recreation purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Legislature has approved the Parks and Wildlife Code, Section
13.309 authorizing the State of Texas, and its political subdivisions, to participate in
the federal program established under said Public Law 88-578; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Legislature has approved the Parks & Wildlife Code, Section
24.005 for the purpose of allowing the political subdivisions of the State of Texas to
participate in the Texas Local Parks, Recreation & Open Space Fund; and
WHEREAS, the "Applicant" is fully eligible to receive assistance under these
programs; and
WHEREAS, the "Applicant is desirous of authorizing an official to represent and act
for the "Applicant" in dealing with the "Department" concerning these programs;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE "APPLICANT' :
SECTION 1: That the "Applicant" hereby certifies that they are eligible to receive
assistance under these Programs.
SECTION 2: That the "Applicant" hereby authorizes and directs its ,ty,..,.HADA= to
act for the "Applicant" in dealing with the "Department" for the purpose of these
programs, and Js .,gs....$erzjna is hereby officially designated as the representative in this
regard.
SECTION 3: The "Applicant" hereby specifically authorizes the official to make
application to the "Department" concerning the sites to be know as Lugy,...02mdder, wad jg
