RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE CITY HAS ITS SHARE OF FUNDS FOR A
MATCHING GRANT APPLICATION TO TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE .
WHEREAS , it is desirable to maintain and develop high
quality leisure facilities for our community; and ,
WHEREAS , an opportunity exists to apply for a
1 ,000 .000 . matching grant to the Texas Parks and Wildlife
Department for three park projects; and ,
WHEREAS , the City has secured $500 ,000 . for its share
of funding .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS , THAT:
The City certifies that it has secured 500 ,000 as its
share of funding to apply to the Texas Parks and Wildlife
Department for a $1 ,000 ,000 . matching grant .
