RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM
REROOFING PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
J. MENASCO ROOFING COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract
with J. Menasco Roofing Company with the estimated total cost of
139, 430 . 00 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
139, 430 . 00 of which $125, 487 . 00 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $13 , 943 . 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be
acceptable .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Memorial Auditorium Reroofing Project is hereby accepted, and
the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
