RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE CDBG WILLIAMS AVENUE
DRAINAGE PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
SCALES CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract
with Scales Concrete Construction Company with the estimated total
cost of $27, 655 . 50 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
27, 724 .47 of which $23, 718 .23 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $4, 006 .24; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be
acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The CDBG Williams Avenue Drainage Project is hereby accepted, and
the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
