RESOLUTION TO EXPEND CITY FUNDS FOR REPAIRS OF KESSLER FOUNTAIN .
WHEREAS , the ornamental water fountain at the intersection of
Kessler and Wenonah streets has sustained damage in an automobile
collision; and,
WHEREAS , the driver insurance compensation is not available .
WHEREAS, residents of the neighborhood have contributed partially
to the cost of reconstruction of the wall ; and,
WHEREAS , it is the desire of the City to maintain a collection
of public amenities with direct support of citizens .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS , THAT:
Six Thousand Dollars is hereby authorized for reconstruction
of the Kessler/Wenonah fountain . Funding shall be from 70-000-3956
1 ,883 .93) and 11-451-4113 ( $4 ,000 . ) .
