RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID TO MCGRATH BROTHERS
CONCRETE COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
RECARBONATION BASIN AT CYPRESS STREET WATER
TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids
for the construction of a recarbonation basin at the Cypress
Street Water Treatment Plant, which bids were to be made on a
unit price basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is
McGrath Brothers Concrete Company, who bid unit prices with an
estimated total of $56, 880 . 00 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Such unit price bid of McGrath Brothers Concrete Company
with a estimated total of $56, 880 . 00 is hereby accepted, and the
City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City
with said contractor for the construction of such project .
