RESOLUTION APPROVING TRANSFER OF OLD UNCCLLECTIBLE
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE TOTALING $76 , 825 . 64 FROM AN
ACTIVE TO DORMANT STATUS .
Whereas , hasDirectorofFinanceas r ecommended
that old accounts receivable which were due before September
30 , 1994 , be deemed uncollectible , and that they be removed
from the ledger and be transferred to dormant status .
NOW , THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS , TEXAS . THAT :
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to remove
from the general ledger there hereinafter set out charges
made by the City , which are now deemed uncollectible ,
totaling $76 ,825 . 64 TO WIT :

Water/Sewer/Front Foot 28 , 207 . 82
Refuse/Alley 22 , 555 . 83
Misc . /Account Receivable 16 , 278 . 38
Participation Paving 9 , 783. 61
Although such accounts receivable are placed on
dormant status , reasonable efforts will be made to collect
these accounts receivable , wither by the City Attorney or by
the City ' s collection agency .
