RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT MPEC NORTH WATER
RELOCATION PROJECT AS COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZE
FINAL PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has a contract with Jalyn
Construction, Inc. for the relocation of a water line on the MPEC
North site;
WHEREAS, the original estimated amount of the contract was
60, 972 .34, and the actual amount of work accomplished was
59, 028 . 06;
WHEREAS, we previously have paid the contractor an amount of
57, 480 . 00, leaving an amount due of $1, 548 . 06; and,
WHEREAS, the staff has inspected the project and has found
it to comply with specifications, and the staff has recommended
the Council accept the project as complete and make a final
payment to the Contractor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The project to relocate a water line on the MPEC North site
is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make a
final payment of $1, 548 . 06 to the Contractor.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 15th d of November, 1994 .
