A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS NOMINATING A MEMBER TO SERVE ON THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE WICHITA APPRAISAL
DISTRICT; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the term of Mr. Hardy McAlister, a Wichita
Falls Independent School District appointee on the Wichita
Appraisal District Board of Directors, will expire at the
end of 1994; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls
shares, alternately, this position with the Wichita Falls
Independent School District; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Wichita
Appraisal District has asked the City Council of the City of
Wichita Falls to submit a name for a potential appointee to
fill this position on the Wichita Appraisal District Board
of Directors for a two-year term which will expire at the
end of 1996; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1 . R.D. Bowersock is hereby nominated to fill
the expired term for the City of Wichita Falls to the Board
of Directors of the Wichita Appraisal District. This name
will be furnished to the Wichita Appraisal District for its
consideration.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and
determined that the meeting at which this resolution was
passed was open to the public as required by law.
