RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT NORTHSIDE SANITARY SEWER
TRUNK MAIN, PHASE II PROJECT AS COMPLETE AND
AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with Pate Brothers
Construction, Inc. for construction of the Northside Sanitary
Sewer Trunk Main, Phase II Project;
WHEREAS, the original estimated contract amount was
1, 138, 815 . 10, and the actual amount of work done was
1, 139, 717 .34;
WHEREAS, the City previously has paid the contractor
1, 054, 124 .45, leaving an amount due on the contract of
85, 592 . 89;
WHEREAS, the City is withholding $455 . 50 for
calibration work on the measuring meter, reducing the final
payment to $85, 137 .39; and,
WHEREAS, the staff has inspected the project, found the
project meets plans and specifications, and recommended the
Council accept the project as complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Northside Sanitary Sewer Trunk Main, Phase II Project is
hereby accepted as complete, and the City Manager is authorized
to make a final payment to the contractor in the amount of
85, 137 . 39 .
