RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE PARK CENTRAL TRAIL
PROJECT, CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 AND AUTHORIZE
FINAL PAYMENT TO LANTANA SERVICES, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Lantana Services, Inc. with the estimated total
cost of $47, 989 . 57; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
42, 347 . 30 of which $29, 028 . 91 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $13, 318 . 39; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Park Central Trail Project is hereby accepted and the
City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
