RESOLUTION NO. 151 - 614
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF THE CITY'S AIRPORT AND
AIRWAYS IMPROVEMENT ACT OF 1982 ENTITLEMENT FUNDS FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1992 IN THE AMOUNT OF $441,750. 00 TO THE STATE OF
TEXAS, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, DIVISION OF AVIATION,
FOR USE AT THE MINERAL WELLS AIRPORT.
WHEREAS, as of October 1, 1994, these funds will be lost to the
City, as well as to the State of Texas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to designate a recipient of
these funds;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
In accordance with Section 508 (b) (2) of the Airport
Improvement Act of 1982 , the City of Wichita Falls waives
the following funds apportioned to it under Section 507 of
said act; $441,750. 00 from fiscal year 1992 .
This waiver is made on the condition that the Federal
Aviation Administration makes such amounts, $441,750. 00,
available to the State of Texas, Department of
Transportation, Division of Aviation, for use at the Mineral
Wells airport, for eligible projects under Section 505 of
the Act.
The execution of an agreement for transfer of such
entitlements for the City of Wichita Falls, by the mayor, is
approved.

AGREEMENT FOR TRANSFER OF ENTITLEMENTS
In accordance with Section 508 (b) (2) of the Airport and Airway
Improvement Act of 1982 (hereinafter called the Act) , the
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
hereby waives receipt of the following amount of funds
apportioned to it for the fiscal year specified under Section 507
of the Act:

TOTAL 441,750.00
on the condition that the Federal Aviation Administration makes
the waived amount available to,
THE STATE OF TEXAS, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, DIVISION OF
AVIATION, FOR USE AT THE MINERAL WELLS AIRPORT,
for eligible projects under Section 505 of the Act. This waiver
shall expire on the earlier of September 30, 1994, or when the
availability of apportioned funds would lapse under Section 508
a) of the Act.
