RESOLUTION NO. 1 9' 4
RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 TO
THE CONTRACT WITH THE BUCHANAN CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE AGRICULTURAL
COMPLEX OF THE MULTI-PURPOSE EVENTS CENTER
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls and Wichita County
entered into a contract with Buchanan Construction Company in the
amount of $3, 142 , 437 on April 25, 1994 for the construction of
the Agricultural Complex of the Multi-Purpose Events Center, and
WHEREAS, circumstances have resulted in a need to make
modifications to the contract amount and completion date of the
contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 1 to this contract is hereby approved which
increases the contract amount to $3, 166, 094 and the completion
date to January 28, 1995 at 12 : 00 p.m.
