RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT MPEC SOUTH UTILITIES
RELOCATION PROJECT AS COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZE
FINAL PAYMENT TO CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, the City has a contract with Pate Brothers
Construction Co. for the relocation of water and sewer utilities
to facilitate construction on the MPEC South site;
WHEREAS, the estimated amount of the unit-price contract was
249, 315 . 29, and the actual amount of work accomplished is
252, 078 . 18;
WHEREAS, the City previously has paid the contractor an
amount of $247, 036 . 62 , leaving an amount due to the contractor of
5, 041 .56; and,
WHEREAS. the City staff has found the project meets all
plans and specifications and has recommended that the Council
accept the project as complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The MPEC South Utility Relocations project is hereby
accepted as complete, and the City Manager is authorized to make
a final payment of $5, 041 . 56 to the Contractor.
