A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE AMENDMENT OF A
PREVIOUSLY APPROVED FINAL STATEMENT; APPROVING THE
1994-1995 FINAL STATEMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
OBJECTIVES AND PROPOSED USE OF FUNDS; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS
REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has conducted a Public Hearing
on the reallocation of funds from completed or canceled projects from
previously approved Community Development Block Grant Final Statement;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has conducted a Public Hearing
on proposed uses of funds described in the Final Statement of
Community Development Block Objectives and Proposed Use of funds for
the 1994-1995 CDBG Entitlement Grant; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken public comments given at this
and earlier hearings into consideration in amending the Final
Statement of Community Development Objectives and Proposed Use of
Funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to reallocate $108, 000
from a previously approved Final Statement and Proposed Use of Funds
for Community Development Block Grant Entitlement funds.
SECTION 2 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into
Grant Agreements for the approved Final Statement of Community
Development Objectives and Proposed Use of Block Grant Entitlement
funds for the program year 1994-1995.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the
meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to the public as
required by law.
