RESOLUTION NO. plo-vl CI
RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE 1994 STREET
RESURFACING PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL
PAYMENT TO ZACK BURKETT CO.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Zack Burkett Co. with the estimated total cost of
327, 162 . 50; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
330, 754 . 58 of which $295, 352 . 18 has been previously paid to the
contractor leaving an amount due of $35,402 .40; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it
to be acceptable .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The 1994 Street Resurfacing Project is hereby accepted and
the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the
contractor.
