ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ADMINISTRATIVE
FEES FOR CERTAIN HEALTH CLINIC SERVICES.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide certain clinic services
to individuals to promote the public health, safety, and welfare
of the public; and,
WHEREAS, a fee is established to partially defray administra-
tive costs for those individuals whose family income exceeds
poverty levels, and services will be provided for those unable
to pay.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Fees for the clinic visits are established according to
family size and income into Class A, B, or C, as stated below:

8 0 - 17, 850 17 , 850-35, 700 35, 700 +
For Each Additional Family Member, Add $1, 800
Charges for different clinics will be as follows:
Immunizations:
Class A - no charge; Class B - $4 . 00; Class C - $8. 00
for each clinic visit.
Copies of Immunization Records:
For additional copies a charge of $2. 00 for anyone able
to pay.
Tuberculosis Skin Test (Mantoux) :
Class A - no charge; Class B and Class C - $4. 00. Charge
includes return visit to read test. No charge if we call in
contacts unless person is willing to pay.
Chest Clinic:
Class A - no charge; Class B - $15. 00 annually; Class C -
$25. 00 annually. No charge for subsequent visits for one (1)
year.
Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Clinic:
Class A - no charge; Class B - $10. 00 each new condition.
No charge for scheduled return visits and test of cure if returns
within 20 days of treatment. Class C - $20. 00 . No charge for
contacts we bring in, and no charge for jail or State Hospital
patients.
Blood Pressure Clinic:
Class A - no charge; Class B and C - $2. 00 each visit.
If a physician requests several repeat readings, additional
charge will nto be made for those visits.
Diabetes Screening:
Class a - no charge; Class B and C - $4. 00
No one will be denied service because of inability to pay.
Charges in separate clinics will be implemented as soon
as possible after the effective date.
