AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, VACATING, AND ABANDONING UTILITY
EASEMENTS RETAINED ON CLOSED PORTIONS OF VALLEY DRIVE
AND HARRISON STREET IN BLOCK 1A, EAST SUNSET HEIGHTS
ADDITION, WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, portions of Valley Drive and Harrison Street
were closed by Ordinance 1077 on October 19, 1931, with the
retention of utility easements; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has recommended
the closure of such utility easements, subject to the final
platting of Block 1A, East Sunset Heights Addition; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, deems it advisable and in the public interest to close
the easements hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT;
The utility easements retained on the closed portions of
Valley Drive and Harrison Street by Ordinance No. 1077, are
hereby closed, vacated, and abandoned, subject to the filing
of a final plat of Block 1-A, East Sunset Heights Addition,
Wichita Falls, Texas.
