ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-1 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO ESTABLISH THE TIME OF THE SECOND
CITY COUNCIL MEETING EACH MONTH.
WHEREAS, Section 2-1 of the Code of Ordinances states that
the regular meeting times of the City Council, except the first
meeting in April, shall be the first Tuesday and third Tuesday
of each month, at 8 : 30 o' clock a.m. ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to change the second meeting
each month to an evening meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The first sentence in Section 2-1 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Wichita Falls is hereby amended to read as follows:
"In accordance with Section 34 , as amended, of the Charter,
the regular meeting times of the City Council, except the first
meeting in April, shall be at 8 : 30 o' clock a.m. on the first Tuesday
of each month, and at . C o' clock p.m. on the third Tuesday of
each month. "
