AN ORDINANCE REZONING LOTS 1-7 & 32-42, BLOCK 15,
MIDWESTERN PARK SUBDIVISION, WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
AND ADJACENT AREA, FROM GENERAL COMMERCIAL TO
SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, STANDARD LOT ZONE
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has recom-
mended the rezoning of Lots 1-7 & 32-42, Block 15, Midwestern
Park Subdivision, Wichita Falls, Texas, and a 5 acre tract of
land immediately to the west of said Block 15, from General
Commercial to Single-Family Residential, Standard Lot zone;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, deems that the proposed rezoning of the area
hereafter described is in accordance with the Comprehensive
Land Use Plan, and in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Lots 1-7 & 32-42, Block 15, Midwestern Park Subdivi-
sion, Wichita Falls, Texas, and a 5 acre tract of land
immediately to the west of said Block 15, shown as the
grey shaded area in the attached map (Attachment No. 1) ,
is hereby rezoned from General Commercial (GC) to Single-
Family Residential, Standard Lot (SF-2) zone.
