ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 94-86 , WHICH
APPROPRIATED TWO MILLION DOLLARS FROM GENERAL
FUND EQUITY FOR THE RIVERWALK PROJECT, AND
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 14-87 , WHICH APPROVED
APPRAISAL AND AUTHORIZED PURCHASE OF 51 PARCELS
OF REAL PROPERTY FOR THE RIVERWALK PROJECT.
WHEREAS, since the adoption of the subject ordinance and
resolution, the Tax Increment Financing Board has been organized
and is now acting, it is determined that the best interest of
the City would be served by delaying further action on the Riverwalk
Project until such Board has completed its study and made its
recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Ordinance No. 94-86 and Resolution No. 14-87 are hereby
repealed.
