AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 29-91 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
BY CORRECTING SUBPARAGRAPHS (Q) AND (AR), WHICH
ESTABLISHES PRIMA FACIA MAXIMUM SPEED LIMITS ON
CERTAIN STREETS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
THAT:
That subparagraphs (Q) and (AR) of Section 29-91 of the Code of Ordinance are hereby
amended by replacing with the following under the appropriate headings:
"(Q) KELL BOULEVARD (Spur 447-US 82)
Both Directions:
(1) 35 MPH From Homes Street to a point 1/10 miles west of Holliday Street.
(2) 45 MPH From a point 1/10 mile west of Holliday Street to a point 1/10
mile west of McNiel Avenue.
(3) 50 MPH From a point 1/10 mile west of McNiel Avenue to a point 1/10 mile
West of F.M. 369.
(4) 55 MPH From a point 1/10 mile west of F.M. 369 to the west city limit.
(AR) MAPLEWOOD AVENUE
Both Directions:
(1) 35 MPH From Southwest Parkway (F.M. 369) to Kemp Boulevard."
