NG VACATING,AN ORDINANCE CLOSING, AND ABANDONING A NORTH-
SOUTH UTILITY EASEMENT LYING BETWEEN LOTS 1,2,&3, BLOCK
4, PARK VILLAGE ADDITION, WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has recommended
the closure of a north-south utility easement lying between
Lots 1,2, and 3 , Block 4, Park Village Addition, Wichita
Falls, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, deems it advisable and in the public interest to close
the easement hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The north-south utility easement lying on the
east lot line of Lots 1&2, and the west lot line of Lot 3 , Blk
4, Park Village Addition, Wichita Falls, Wichita County,
Texas, and recorded in Volume 7, Page 94, Wichita County Plat
records, with the exception of a ten ( 10) foot wide east-west
utility easement lying on the north lot line of said Lots 1&3 ,
is hereby closed, vacated, and
Block 4 , Park Village Addition, y ,
abandoned.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon
the filing of a replat of Lots 1-6, Blk 6, Park Village
Addition, with the Wichita County Clerk, within one ( 1) year
from the date of passage of this ordinance.
