AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION III 1 A OF SECTION 1
ORDINANCE 32-84, WHICH AMENDS CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE IV,
DIVISION 5, OF THE WICHITA FALLS CODE OF ORDINANCES
WHEREAS, the Landmark Commission has recommended that the
attorney position on the Landmark Commission be replaced by an
at-large position; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls
deems that the proposed amendment hereafter described is
advisable and in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
Section III 1 a of Section 1, Ordinance 32-84, which
amends Chapter 2, Article IV, Division 5, of the Wichita Falls
Code of Ordinances, is hereby amended to read:
"Of the nine members, one shall be a licensed real estate
broker or appraiser, one shall be a member of the Planning &
Zoning Commission, one shall be a member of the executive
committee of Midtown Now, one shall be a member of the Wichita
County Heritage Society, two shall be licensed arch. tects, and
three shall be members at-large."
