RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT BETWEEN WICHITA COUNTY
AND THE CITIES OF WICHITA FALLS, BURKBURNETT
AND IOWA PARK, TEXAS, AND LAIDLAW MEDICAL
TRANSPORTATION, INC. FOR AMBULANCE SERVICE
WHEREAS, the current contract between Wichita County, the
Cities of Wichita Falls, Burkburnett and Iowa Park and Laidlaw
Medical Transportation, Inc. for the provision of ambulance
service to such entities expires December 31, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to enter into another contract
for the one-year period beginning January 1, 1996 and ending
December 31, 1996; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of this contract are the
same as those in the previous contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
That the City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract
between Wichita County and the Cities of Wichita Falls,
Burkburnett and Iowa Park, Texas and Laidlaw Medical
Transportation, Inc. for the provision of ambulance service for
the one-year period beginning January 1, 1996 and ending
December 31, 1996.
