A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 120 -86 TO RETAIN A PORTION
OF THE LOG CABIN RENTAL DEPOSIT FOR FAILURE TO PICK UP KEY.
WHEREAS, a renter of the Lucy Park log cabin may forget
to pick up the key in a timely manner; and,
WHEREAS, should a City employee be requested to deliver
a key after normal working hours and upon doing so incur
additional expense to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Resolution No. 120 -86 is hereby amended to: Keys may be
picked up one day prior to the reservation date or on Friday
for Saturday and Sunday reservations at the Parks and
Recreation Department office. Keys should be returned
within five days following the event. Should a City
employee be requested to deliver a key to the log cabin that
necessitates additional expense to the City, a $20. portion
of the renter's damage /clean -up deposit shall be retained as
compensation to the City.
