A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS AMENDING THE FINAL
STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES AND PROPOSED USE OF
FUNDS BY CHANGING THE SCOPE OF RENOVATIONS AT
THE RED DOOR SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER FROM THE
INSTALLATION OF A VENT-A-HOOD TO THE
INSTALLATION OF A NEW HVAC SYSTEM; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS
RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, The Wichita Falls City Council has conducted a Public Hearing on the amendment to the
Final Statement of Objectives and Proposed Use of Funds for Community Development Block Grant funds; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken public comments given at this hearing into consideration; and
WHEREAS, Senior Citizens Services of North Texas, Inc. has requested a change in scope of renovations
due to imminent safety hazard of the present HVAC system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is authorized to amend the Final Statement of Objectives and
Proposed Use of Funds and change the scope of renovations from a vent-a-hood to the installation of a new HVAC
system.
SECTION Z. it is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this resolution was
passed was open to the public as required by law,
