RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE CDBG WILLIAMS PARK TRAIL
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO BARNETT
PAVING AND SEALING COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Barnett Paving and Sealing Company with the estimated
total cost of $87,983.30 and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$92,638.38 of which $81,788.29 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $10,850.09; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be
acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The CDBG Williams Park Trail Project is hereby accepted, and the
City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
