RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS FOR BANKING SERVICES
WITH NATIONS BANK OF TEXAS, N.A.FOR A FOUR (4)
YEAR PERIOD.
WHEREAS, heretofore the City of Wichita Falls has
advertised for proposals to act as depository of City funds
for four (4) years from December 1, 1995; and,
WHEREAS, of proposals received, it is found that the
proposal of Nations Bank of Texas, N.A. offers the most
favorable terms and conditions to serve as City Depository.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNC I L OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
The proposal of Nations Bank of Texas, N.A. to serve as
City Depository for a four (4) year period beginning
December 1, 1995 is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is
authorized to execute contracts for banking agreements, wire
transfers, collateral agreement, securities agreement and
other such contracts as they pertain to the City Funds
during the term that Nations Bank of Texas, N.A. serves as
City's Depository.
