RESOLUTION TO AWARD BIDS TO THE MARTA COMPANY
FOR THE ANNUAL SUPPLY OF METER BOXES AND
ADDITIONAL BOX LIDS
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised for bids for
large and small meter boxes with lids and additional lids for
each size meter box;
WHEREAS, the Council has examined the bids received and
determined the lowest responsive bidder to be The Marta Company,
Wichita Falls, Texas for each of the four items.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The bid for meter boxes and extra lids is awarded to The
Marta Company as follows:

Small Lid $ 5,796.00
Small Box Complete $28,207.50
Large Lid $ 1,128.50
Large Box complete $ 8,332.80
The City staff is authorized to requisition these products
on an as- required basis.
