RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CHANGE
ORDER #1 TO THE CONTRACT WITH INMAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the base bid by Inman Construction Company of
$569,000. was accepted by the City Council for construction
of a shelter in Lucy Park; and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable to reduce the price in order
to complete the other elements of the matching grant project
with Texas Parks and Wildlife; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed change order #1 reduces the
project to a cost that is acceptable and still retain a cost
effective value of the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS THAT=
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute change
order #1 to the contract with Inman Construction.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 3rd day_ of October, 1995.
