A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, REAPPOINTING SUBSTITUTE JUDGE OF THE
MUNICIPAL COURT FOR A TERM OF TWO YEARS; FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION
WAS DISCUSSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY
LAW.
WHEREAS, Dan Tompkins was reappointed as a substitute judge
of the Municipal Court by Resolution No. 128 -93, for a two -year
term expiring September 1, 1995; and,
WHEREAS, Dan Tompkins has agreed to serve another two -year
term as a substitute Municipal Court Judge, to act in the place
and stead of the Municipal Judge during any period in which he is
temporarily unable to act for any reason.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby consents to such
reappointment of Dan Tompkins as a substitute judge of the
Municipal Court for a term of two years, beginning September 1,
1995.
SECTION 2. It is officially found and determined that the
meeting at which this resolution was passed was open to the
public as required by law.
