RESOLUTION NO. 57-2014
Resolution awarding bid for the McNiel Drainage and Southwest
Pkwy Intersection Improvements Project to North Texas Contracting,
Inc., in an estimated total amount of $6,558,667.00
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the City properly advertised for bids for
the McNiel Drainage and Southwest Pkwy Intersection Improvements Project (CWF13-
552-01 TxDOT #0802-02-052); and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the lowest responsible bidder is North
Texas Contracting, Inc., which made a unit price bid with an estimated total of
$6,558,667.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the McNiel Drainage and Southwest Pkwy Intersection
Improvements Project (CWF13-552-01 TxDOT #0802-02-052) is awarded to North
Texas Contracting, Inc., in an estimated total amount of $6,558,667.00, and the City
Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City with said Contractor for the
construction of the project.
