RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT PROPOSAL OF BAKER
EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR SANITARY SEWER
TELEVISING SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls issued a Request for
Proposal for interested vendors to supply a sanitary sewer
televising system;
WHEREAS, the. proposal of one vendor was not acceptable
because the televising system did not meet the needs of the City
of Wichita Falls, and the proposal of a second vendor was not
acceptable because the vendor's price was about $50,000 higher
than the other proposals, and the vendor would not consider a
negotiation on the price;
WHEREAS, the proposal of Baker Equipment Company of Edmond,
Oklahoma to provide an RST Televising System mounted on an
appropriate vehicle chassis meets all of the needs and
requirements of the City, and the staff has field validated that
the proposed equipment will serve our needs; and,
WHEREAS, the staff has negotiated a final set of
specifications and price, and has recommended that the Council
accept the proposal of Baker Equipment Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
