A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE WITHDRAWAL
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS FROM THE NORTH TEXAS
FINANCE CORPORATION; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls (the "City ") and certain other local governments have
previously formed the North Texas Housing Finance Corporation (the "North Texas HFC ") and have
approved the Articles of Incorporation of said corporation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Wichita Falls now desires withdrawal from any future participation
with the North Texas HFC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION I. That the City Council hereby determines that its participation in the North Texas
Housing Finance Corporation is no longer necessary or in the best interest of the City and hereby
authorizes the withdrawal of its participation, and from any future participation, in the North Texas
Housing Finance Corporation to be effective immediately upon the adoption of this Resolution.
SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and upon its adoption.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this Resolution
was passed was open to the public as required by law.
