A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENTS WITH LKC CONSULTING SERVICES,
INC. TO PERFORM THE NECESSARY STUDIES OF THE WICHITA FALLS
TRANSIT SYSTEM; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, in order to best serve the needs of the citizens of Wichita Falls, the City Council deems
it appropriate to evaluate transit services and operations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that a consultant be contracted to perform a study of the
Wichita Falls Transit System; and
WHEREAS, there are funds allocated by appropriate state and federal agencies to perform such a
study as an allowed activity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION I. The City Manager is authorized to enter into the necessary contractual arrangements
with LKC Consulting Services, Inc. to perform studies necessary to evaluate and enhance the Wichita
Falls Transit System.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at which this resolution
was passed was open to the public as required by law.
