RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF THE CITY'S AIRPORT AND
AIRWAYS IMPROVEMENT ACT OF 1982 ENTITLEMENT FUNDS, TOTALING
$417,518.00, FOR FISCAL YEAR 1993, TO ADDISON, TEXAS, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $150,000.00, AND TO BRIDGEPORT, TEXAS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $267,518.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has surplus AIP Entitlement Funds;
and
WHEREAS, as of October 1, 1995, these funds will be lost to the City,
as well as to the State of Texas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desire to designate recipients of these
funds;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
In accordance with Section 508 (b) (2) of the Airport Improvement
Act of 1982, the City of Wichita Falls waives the following funds
apportioned to it under Section 507 of said act; $417,518.00 from
fiscal year 1993. This waiver is made on the condition that the
Federal Aviation Administration makes such amounts available, $150,000
to Addision, Texas, and $267,518.00 to Bridgeport, Texas, for eligible
projects under Section 505 of the Act.
The execution of an agreement for transfer of such entitlements
for the City of Wichita Falls, by the mayor, is approved.
