A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING A
CONFLICT OF INTEREST WAIVER FOR CITY
EMPLOYEES QUALIFYING FOR VARIOUS U.S.
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
FUNDED PROGRAMS; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS
PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY
LAW.
WHEREAS, The City of Wichita Falls must make full public disclosure of any
conflict of interest that exists for employees that may gain a financial interest
or benefit from programs funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development; and
WHEREAS, These Employees do not exercise any functions or responsibilities
associated with the program; and
WHEREAS, These Employees are not in a position to participate in the
decision making process; and
WHEREAS, These Employees is otherwise qualified for assistance under this
program; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the conflict of interest provisions under these various
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Programs be waived for these
City Employees.
SECTION 2. IT IS HEREBY OFFICIALLY FOUND AND DETERMINED THAT THE MEETING
AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
