RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE TRANSFER STATION
TIPPING FLOOR REHABILITATION PROJECT, CHANGE
ORDER NO. 1, AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO
DUKE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price
contract with Duke Construction Company with the total cost of
$96,244.40, based on estimated quantities; and,
WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of
$106,283.23 of which $87,799.79 has been previously paid to the
contractor, leaving an amount due of $18,483.44; and,
WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to
be acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Transfer Station Tipping Floor Rehabilitation Project is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final
payment to the contractor.
