Res 006-95 1/3/1995RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE TRANSFER STATION TIPPING FLOOR REHABILITATION PROJECT, CHANGE ORDER NO. 1, AND AUTHORIZE FINAL PAYMENT TO DUKE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered a unit price contract with Duke Construction Company with the total cost of $96,244.40, based on estimated quantities; and, WHEREAS, the actual work was completed at a total cost of $106,283.23 of which $87,799.79 has been previously paid to the contractor, leaving an amount due of $18,483.44; and, WHEREAS, the City staff has inspected the work and found it to be acceptable. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The Transfer Station Tipping Floor Rehabilitation Project is hereby accepted, and the City Manager is authorized to make final payment to the contractor.
